FUNDRAISE FOR US
We have had a few people run a pub quiz or organise a collection to raise money for TAVS. We would love to talk to you about if it is something you are interested in doing. You can also set up your own fundraising page by following the link on our localgiving.org page.
I have been involved at TAVS for a decade now. I can’t quite explain why I turn up week after week but for me meeting these very special people is one of the highlights of the week. I rarely leave TAVS without a smile on my face – thank you to the many folk who make TAVS such a special place.
Many of our guests at TAVs are people who feel they’re somewhere near the bottom of the heap. For us, they’re our VIPs, to be welcomed, fed, clothed, and listened to without judgement.
It is so rewarding to be involved with TAVS and I always go home feeling I have gained more than I have given. It is also humbling and makes you appreciate what you have, when you engage with those who have so little.
